SHTERA opens the session over SSH, RDP, VNC or Telnet from the browser, without the person connecting needing to install their own client or know the server’s real password: the connection is built on SHTERA’s server and streamed as a remote screen.
Servers with files can also be browsed over SFTP directly from the same screen, without opening a separate FTP client — uploading, downloading or deleting a file is audited the same way as everything else.
For databases (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis), SHTERA spins up the matching admin panel on demand, with the same per-folder access rules as the rest of the servers.
The real limit is the same one any vault served through a browser has, without an installed app: the guarantee depends on the code delivered on each visit being the right one. It’s laid out plainly in Vault security.
